SUSANNE ABLEITINGER
“I started my career in the IT industry in 1982 and as a hobby I decided to study beauty therapy.”
I qualified as a Somatologist with ITEC and CIDESCO in 1989 and opened my first salon in Bedfordview. My passion for this field let me to leave the IT industry completely and concentrate only on giving the best treatments and advise to my clients in my own salon.”
Soon after, I moved with my husband to a farm in Groblersdal, Mpumalanga, and couldn’t resist opening a day spa on the farm. “I enjoyed this immensely as the rustic setting of the farm added to the ambience of the day spa.”

In 2007, I opened L’Orange Wellness Aesthetic Clinic in Weltevreden Park, after having successfully owned and run Le Chic de Beaute Palais, both at Village Walk and Ferndale Medical Centre until April 2007 and October 2007 respectively, when I sold both salons to start afresh, specialising in Aesthetic treatments.
My passion lies in facial aesthetic therapy including chemical peels, ranging from very superficial to medium deep, laser therapy for hair removal, photo rejuvination, treating all forms of acne as well as treating pigmentation problems. Permanent make-up, medical tattooing and chemical extraction tattoo removal are also offered at this clinic, as well as slimming treatments using a weight loss assist program. My latest treatments offered are plasma pen skin tightening and wrinkle reduction. I pride myself in offering the latest in available treatments and in above standard treatment practise and ethics.
Since completing my SDF certification and qualifications I wanted to get back into skills development and training and to make sure that the training provided is according to unit standards and within the national qualification framework.
I currently train for Veeway in Rejuvi treatments and products, Rejuvi chemical extraction tattoo removal, Permanent and corrective make-up, including embroidery/microblading technique and various machine training, including mesotherapy electroportation, RF, HIPL laser and cavitation.
I also lecture at Potchefstroom Academy (SAAHST) – the permanent make-up short courses since Jan 2018.
I am an active member of our professional body SAAHSP (South African Association of Health & Skin Care Professionals) and have been a committee member in 2003-2005 as well as a board member in 2017-2018.
In 2018, I opened my own Aesthetic Training Academy with Maria Avraamides under the name of Holistic Emporium Aesthetic Training Academy and we have started rolling out specialist advanced aesthetic training for qualified Beauty Therapists, Somatologists and Medical Professionals. I am proud to announce that we feel it is time to re-brand with a new logo under the name of AESTHETIC TRAINING ACADEMY. The courses currently on offer are Plasma pen treatments, Microneedling (CIT), Permanent make-up (all modalities), Tattoo removal (all modelalities). Our courses have already been accredited through SAAHSP and award CPD points.
